When a Community Unites: Fresno Unified, Fresno Police & TRINITY Leaders Come Together for Artists With Autism

310babii and That Girl Lay Lay Join Trinity Music Group for an Unforgettable WE ARE ONE Experience at Fresno High School.

FRESNO, CALIFORNIA — October 2026

Sometimes the most powerful moments happen when people with different responsibilities and perspectives come together for something greater than themselves. That was the story behind Trinity Music Group's WE ARE ONE event at Fresno High School, bringing together artists with autism and other developmental disabilities, educational leaders, law enforcement, and nationally recognized recording artists 310babii and That Girl Lay Lay. What began with challenges surrounding event planning became a powerful example of collaboration, inclusion, and community leadership.

DIFFERENT RESPONSIBILITIES. ONE SHARED PURPOSE.

For weeks, artists from Trinity Music Group, a creative program of Trinity Development Center, prepared for one of their biggest performances at Fresno High School. As planning progressed, questions surrounding event logistics, security, and student safety required additional attention. Representatives from Fresno Unified School District, the Fresno Police Department, Fresno High School administration, and Trinity leadership came together to address those concerns.

Educational leaders had a responsibility to protect students and families. Public safety professionals focused on security, while Trinity leadership remained committed to advocating for artists who had worked hard to prepare for their moment. Rather than allowing those concerns to stop the event, everyone communicated, listened, and worked toward solutions. Through cooperation and a shared commitment to the artists, the concerns were resolved, allowing WE ARE ONE to move forward at Fresno High School as originally planned. What could have become a setback instead became an example of what community leadership can accomplish.

LEADERSHIP THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Special recognition goes to Fresno High School Vice Principal Raul Leal-Rodriguez, who worked directly with Trinity leadership throughout the planning process, helping navigate concerns, maintain communication, and work toward solutions.

Trinity Music Group extends special recognition to Keshia Thomas and Alex Belanger for their involvement, communication, and commitment to keeping the event's larger purpose at the center of the conversation. Their participation helped demonstrate how meaningful community relationships can extend beyond classrooms, offices, and administrative responsibilities. Special appreciation also goes to Pastor DJ Criner of Saint Rest Baptist Church for his advocacy, support, and commitment to ensuring that individuals with disabilities have opportunities to be heard, recognized, and celebrated.

For Keshia Thomas, the experience represented a special full-circle moment as she watched Kamari Flowers, a former student, perform as a recording artist with Trinity Music Group. Alex Belanger also took time to visit backstage, connect personally with event organizers, and share in the excitement of this meaningful occasion, demonstrating genuine support for the mission behind WE ARE ONE. These moments demonstrated that community leadership extends beyond meetings and official responsibilities. Sometimes, its greatest impact comes from showing up for the people being served.

Under the leadership of Executive Director Mysti Dailey-Harris, Trinity Development Center continues creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop their talents, confidence, and independence.

Through Trinity Music Group, Director and Executive Producer Adrian "Vibes" Harris is helping develop recording artists, songwriters, and performers while connecting them with real-world opportunities in the entertainment industry.

MORE THAN CELEBRITIES: REAL INDUSTRY RECOGNITION

One of the most meaningful parts of WE ARE ONE was the involvement of 310babii and That Girl Lay Lay.

Their presence brought excitement and star power, but their contribution went beyond a celebrity appearance.

For Trinity Music Group performers, receiving feedback and encouragement from established recording artists carries a different level of significance.

These weren't simply compliments from family members, friends, or instructors. They were perspectives from entertainers who understand what it takes to record music, perform professionally, build an audience, and establish themselves in the industry.

310babii and That Girl Lay Lay gave these emerging artists something valuable: recognition and feedback from credible voices in the music industry.

Their engagement reinforced an important message: artists with disabilities deserve the same opportunities to develop, receive professional feedback, and be recognized for their talents as any other aspiring entertainer.

That kind of encouragement can build confidence, inspire growth, and motivate performers to continue pursuing their dreams.

The celebrities helped bring attention to the event, but the artists of Trinity Music Group remained at the heart of the experience.

Their abilities, not their disabilities, were the focus.

BIGGER THAN ONE PERFORMANCE

The WE ARE ONE School Tour was built around a powerful belief: Talent deserves opportunity, and opportunity should never be limited by disability. Through music, Trinity Music Group is doing more than developing artists. We're using music as a tool to educate, build confidence, strengthen communication skills, encourage self-expression, and inspire personal growth. From songwriting and reading to recording and live performances, every experience creates opportunities for individuals with disabilities to discover their potential, overcome barriers, and believe in themselves. By bringing WE ARE ONE into schools and communities, our mission is to inspire the next generation, promote inclusion, and demonstrate that music isn't just entertainment. It's a powerful tool for education, empowerment, and transformation.

The greatest accomplishment wasn't simply putting on a show at Fresno High School. It was watching educational leaders, law enforcement, school staff, community organizations, established recording artists, and families come together to create an unforgettable experience.

It was seeing performers who had spent countless hours developing their music receive recognition from their community and respected professionals in the entertainment industry. And it was a reminder that when people work together, meaningful opportunities become possible.

Trinity Development Center and Trinity Music Group extend sincere appreciation to Fresno Unified School District, Superintendent Misty Her, Board President Veva Islas, Fresno High School Principal Amy Smith, Vice Principal Raul Leal-Rodriguez, Fresno High School faculty and staff, and the Fresno Police Department.

And to the artists of Trinity Music Group, continue creating, growing, and showing the world what you're capable of accomplishing.

The music may have ended, but the mission continues.

Many voices. One purpose. One community.

Together, WE ARE ONE.
